Following on from her brief stint as The Masked Singer’s Goldfish, Christine Anu let one slip on The Project Tuesday night.
But while it meant her appearance was cut short, fans on Twitter praised the cheeky moment, which saw the star gasp with her hands over her mouth before falling into a fit of giggles.

The slip-up followed a question from Carrie Bickmore, who asked the unmasked star whether she’d consider re-releasing her 1995 cover of My Island Home.
Without missing a beat, Anu candidly responded:“You say re-release and I’ve done a f***ing million versions…,” before trailing off as she realised her live television faux pas.
“And that’s the end of the show!” Carrie Bickmore called out with laugh, with Peter Helliar adding: “Somebody put a mask on her now!”
Over on Twitter, viewers were loving the unedited moment:

Anu, who performed My Island Home at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, was revealed as one of The Masked Singer’s mysterious celebs this week.
But while most of us picked the star from the moment the Goldfish opened her mouth on stage Monday night, there was one clue even the star herself couldn't explain.
Or rather, didn’t want to.
Speaking on The Project, Anu was cagey when Peter Helliar asked why Daniel Radcliffe popped up in her clue package.
“Can I ask you about – two clues I want to know about. A picture of The Karate Kid and Daniel Radcliffe. What were those two clues alluding to?” he asked.
“I can’t speak to Daniel Radcliffe, but I can speak to Ralph Macchio, so I was a karate kid when I was a little girl,” she explained.
“But you have no idea of why Harry Potter was there?” Helliar followed up.
“Can we get together after the program and talk about that?” she responded, laughing.
The Project airs Sunday to Friday from 6.30 on Channel 10.
